They Came to Sollandheim
The Castle Bachward (Creek Station) sits within a wide bend in the river Soll and glowers menacingly over the nearby forest. At the crest of a small hill, it has battlements that extend to the waters edge where a small port is kept. It is the center of government for the town of Sollandheim and also the rightful home of Duchess Ottila von Toppenheimer when she is not away on other business. Count Victor von Krienhoff runs the estate and the surrounding village in her absence. It is garrisoned by 15 guards at all hours, with another 30 in reserve.
